"Superbly acted...skillfully paced and artfully shot." - indieWIRE

In the aftermath of the Battle of the Little Big Horn, a twelve-year-old Lakota boy, Goes Alone (Joseph Saul) comes upon a wounded cavalry soldier, James (Jason London) hiding in the grass. When Goes Alone sees James about to take his own life rather than be captured, the boy allows him to escape. The next morning Goes Alone comes looking for James and finds him by a creek, dying from his wounds. Over the next two days Goes Alone and James form a bond that grows into friendship as Goes Alone tries to save the dying soldier. The price they pay for friendship is high when their two cultures clash in a startling and emotional conclusion.
